With this new release of ColleGrove, fans of both artists are definitely looking at how they can get their ears on it as soon as possible. While this isn’t his album, it’s pretty damn close. However, it’s quite curious to see Lil Wayne going in on a joint effort-even with someone he’s close with-considering that he’s maintained largely that he’s not releasing another album. Put those together and naturally you get ColleGrove.Īnytime that 2 Chainz released new music, it’s a big deal in the hip-hop world considering the rapper’s notoriety and fame in the music world. 2 Chainz famously is from and reps College Park, GA while Lil Wayne comes from the Hollygrove sector of New Orleans, LA.
